New Perspectives embodies the structured chaos we currently
live in, and strives to create new realities; new experiences. Sub trends
emerging from new perspectives include the strong influence of mathematics in
order to create perfection and peace within our hectic, digital world. Techno
Animism is set to be another major trend in spring summer 2014, with our
growing desire to create an emotive relationship with the technology we rely so
heavily on. Our lives are so linked with the digital, that technology has become
a spiritual escape for some, and Techno Animism is set to showcase just that.
The final major trend of New Perspectives is Clarity; the
desire to escape the noise of our digital age and reconnect with nature and the
universe. This trend is set to provide an outlook to a future which could
include parallel universes, and lands undiscovered. Heavily influenced by
folklore, this trend relies on creating a sense of belonging within social
groups.
